WHY ARE SOME PRODUCTS (ESPECIALLY SUNSCREEN TUBES) ONLY HALF-FILLED
?
It is completely normal for certain product containers not to be filled to the top. The container size is intentional for the following reason: the product may expand depending on temperature and storage conditions and therefore requires sufficient space. Otherwise, the contents could spill out when the cap is opened.
In addition, many products need to be shaken thoroughly before use to ensure that the ingredients are properly mixed. This also requires extra space inside the container. Please also note that the amount stated on the packaging usually refers to the volume in milliliters (ml) rather than the weight in grams (g). Even if it appears that the container is able to hold more, each product always contains at least the amount indicated on its label.
