Base & Primers
For perfect make-up you need a perfect foundation - and let's be honest - who has that all naturally? Rough skin areas, redness, spots and a multitude of other skin problems have to be covered up day in and day out. The long underestimated helpers, who have always been used as secret weapons by numerous make-up artists and beauty gurus, are primers and base. Both a primer and a base create a make-up base that guarantees a better hold of foundation, B.B. cream or powder and both bring you closer to everyones goal - even skin.
A make-up base corrects the shade of the complexion. It is usually available in colours that do not really resemble a natural skin colour. But don't worry! Yellow or green-ish bases conceal redness, purple or rosy colors make matt and pale complexions rosier again.
Primers are also available in different colours. In contrast to the base they are either white-ish or have a beige colour. They do not correct the colour of the complexion. They primarily serve to make the skin surface and thus the following base products appear more even.
